After what I thought was a SQL injection on the site last weekend, I started exploring new ways to rebuild the site to suit it’s current needs. For that Drupal is overkill. I found that WordPress had improved beyond all recognition from when I last used it in terms of being easy to set up and use. I’ve never used a Multi-User install so this is also a first for me.
I’ve moved a lot of the quick access stuff into the menu as it makes more sense. I’ve brought what used to be called the Digital Prism Screencast into Unseen Studio now under it’s new name Ookast. If you’re already subscribed to the Feedburner RSS feeds for Crivins, TuxJam or the blog, you will have to change those URLs; as Feedburner won’t accept the new URL’s as valid. You can subscribe to Ookast as either all the episodes, or just the Drupal or Linux episodes.
We now have a suggestions page for each show, where replies will be pruned when no longer applicable.
It’s been a while since I used WordPress, so I”m still finding my way around. There will be tweaks yet to be made, in addition to several tweaks I already know about and are on the todo list, like the placeholder logos.
